Title: The Mummy
Post by: Yoeddy1 on September 29, 2010, 11:53:41 PM
So what's the going rate and availability on these?  Are they hard to find?  I've gotta say, I think the roll-up sounds on this game are the coolest I've heard.  Seems to be a popular game.  Are they even in casinos anymore?  Which NLG'ers have one?

Thanks,
Jason

"Which NLG'ers have one?"  :88-

It took me a LONG time to find this kit. Glad I did...

I'm still looking for a Mummy topper is anyone has one available!

I know,  I played it one time and had to have it. I think the "mystery nudge" is what got me.

You might like The Munsters better, I like the old TV theme music

I know what your saying about Munsters, the IGame is newer and more easily obtained  (easier than finding an S2000 Mummy) and has become more popular with todays video generation. I have it in my collection as well. It is pretty good with the bonus games and all but not knowing if or when the Mummy reels are going to nudge is what really draws you to play the S2000. The unique "7" symbol wrapped in bandages and the Universal Studios Monsters tademark are good attention getters too.

What kid didnt watch "Creature Feature Theater" when they were growing up?  or am I dating myself here? I wish IGT had completed the line to include Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman to go along with Mummy, CFBL and Monster Mansion. I know they made a couple lesser known "monsters"  like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and a Phantom of the Opera but why not the most famous ones?  Not to hijak the thread but does anyone know why they didnt?

I think everything wolfman is copywrited by that jackass radio guy, and the rest by the guy that played Eddie Munster.

Speaking of Eddie he rents himself out as a party guest and makes most of his money during the October Holoween season.
He is very bitter that he never got any royalties from the Munsters yet his image is used on lunch boxes, slots etc and paramount still rakes in the bucks for this. I think he should get over it and get a job, the rest of the Munsters did. Who can possibly forget "My Cousin Vinny"

I would suspect that Hollywood probabably has Dracula and Frankenstien sewed up - yes pun intended
(Mel Brooks did young frankenstien, tom cruiz in something or other, blade).

Love The Mummy machine it's a great machine, got a line on 2 but cant get them to give one up lol. The Munster is a good machine also, but love the graphics on The Mummy much better. I'm adding The Munster to my personal  collection though since I cant get The Mummy "yet" lol

This thread seriously needs to be deleted, or at least Rob's photo.  I'm drawn to it with it's tractor beam like power.  That's no moon...it's a space station.  ;)

Here's a question...would a DSV00019 (Mummy) SIMM work in say a Double Diamond Deluxe game?  They both have nudge features.  Just wondering if the sounds would synch up?

Rob?  :)

It may give you a mismatch error as I tried to use the Tabasco sound simm in a RWB game and no go
