I don't know much about monitor repair. I've got two Video slots with dim monitors. One is a GameKing 13", not very bright at all. The other is a Odyssey Monitor, also very dim. When I play with the contrast and brightness on the Odyssey monitor I can get it looking a little better but the picture gets out of focus. I was told a new flyback transformer will restore the brightness. Is this true for both of them? Is this all there is to the story? Thanks! Also a dying CRT can be the issue too. Sometimes it's either or.... CRT rejuvenation can restore some CRT's but it's short lived. Do a google and you will see many how two's |
