Title: Please advise on a Game King purchase Post by: Triple_Double on October 13, 2010, 06:25:16 PM How much is a 3902 based Game King, with a 19 or 20" monitor, with enhanced sound going to cost (roughly)? I currently see prices in NV ranging anywhere from $300 up to $3000.
Is an LCD screen necessary? I plan on it lasting a while and for it to look good. I don't want it to use coins in it (at all) so a coin hopper is out, just need a bill validator that works with all the new bills. Obviously will need a clear chip but what other software / hardware will I need? Hopefully you guys can help out and offer some advice. Thanks in advance. Title: Re: Please advise on a Game King purchase Post by: tacman on October 13, 2010, 06:48:21 PM Well, although the 17" games seem to be more prevalent, there are some 19" GK's around. I think in the ballpark of $1700-2200 is what you're gonna be looking at. Also depending where you are located and if you can do a pickup will also effect the cost since S&H can increase the price. Another thing to consider is t actually get an I game+ cabinet with the double row betdeck instead of the Game King single row deck. Having the LCD monitor is a definite plus because the sharpness and clarity is so much nicer. Also if it has the LCD, if you upgrade to an 044 platform later, it will give you the best picture.

LCD adds about another 7bills from Happ. I have a single row of buttons, but I'm only interested in poker keno and blackjack. Don't like video slots and with the 5.3p software it works great. I would love an LCD but it's only a luxury item.
Title: Re: Please advise on a Game King purchase Post by: Triple_Double on October 13, 2010, 07:13:15 PM Video poker is my main interest (all versions), blackjack would be nice too. Are there some decent slot games available on a game king? I thought they were used mainly for poker. . .

Are there some decent slot games available on a game king? I thought they were used mainly for poker. . . So mine came with I believe 4.3 (pretty common on GK's). I upgraded mine to the 5.3p version a few weeks later. Game King 4.3 comes with: Poker: Bonus, Deuces wild, double bonus, jacks or better, joker, aces bonus, double bonus delux, double double bonus, deuces wild bonus, double deuce, loose deuce, triple bonus, shockwave Keno: 369, superway, keno, 4 card, super, caveman, triple diamond, top bottom Slots: Black Rhino, super 8 line, diamond mine, super 8 race, double bucks, on the prowl, wild flower, lion fish and blackjack Version 5.0 and 5.3p are also available through the vendors, but require a multimedia lite II sound card, graphics and sound SIMM's, etc. The package plus the game could tack on about another $250.00 or so to the price. The upgrade will give you better sounds and graphics. Here's what each contains: Games on GK 5.0 - 12 Game Enabled (No Blackjack) Jacks or Better Bonus Poker Double Bonus Double Double Bonus Deuce's Wild Joker Poker Spot Keno Power Keno Cleo Keno Multicard Keno Caveman Keno Cleo Slot 9 Reel Super 8 9 Reel Leopard Spot 9 Reel GAMES ON GK 5.3 - 12 GAME ENABLED (No slots) Jacks or Better Bonus Poker Double Bonus Double Double Bonus Deuce's Wild Joker Poker Bonus Poker Deluxe Super Ace Bonus White Hot Aces Super Double Double Bonus Double Double Bonus Plus Shockwave Poker Aces Bonus Triple Bonus Super Double Bonus Triple Double Bonus Aces & Faces Double Aces & Faces Double Double Aces & Faces Double Deuce Loose Deuce Deuces Bonus Deuces Double Bonus Deuces Super Bonus One-Eyed Jacks Deuces Joker Spot Keno Multicard Keno Caveman Keno Ace Deuce Bonus Wild 7's USA Poker Double Joker Aces & Eights Black Jack Black Jack Bonus Title: Re: Please advise on a Game King purchase Post by: slotsteve on October 13, 2010, 11:14:56 PM We have about 50 gk,s left but all 17in chop tops and 3902 boards 5.0 ,We too only sell to legal states, we are in sw va email for prices BUYBEST@AOL.COM

Can the 5.0 / 5.3 versions be modified? For example, can you swap certain games on different versions to only put the games you want on your machine? And why do you need special sounds / graphics/ effects when playing poker? How awesome can cards being dealt sound? Do they look that much different? Do they only sell to casinos and is that why everyone has a used one . . .

Title: Re: Please advise on a Game King purchase Post by: Gunnerbill on October 15, 2010, 05:03:20 AM Hello and welcome.
I am in Vegas. I just purchased an IGT I Game Plus system myself. Paid $1100 for a Catch A wave video game. I could have gotten a game king 4.3 with a 19" or a 20" for $900.00 or a 13" for $650.00. A 19" or 20" are cheaper because nobody wants them. They are way to big, take up to much room. And are heavy as H_ll. Also I believe that there is no LCD available for the 20". So, to allow me for future upgrade and expanded game play. I took a IGT I Game Plus. Video Poker game are cheaper here than the video games. I purchased another Game king tray setup for an extra $225.00. (Game king software 4.3, 3902 board, multi-lite board and tray). I got an extra bet button and added it myself. The wiring is already there. Just plug it in and it is ready to go, Plug-n-Play. The extra bet button comes in handy with some video games like "Super Sally Shrimp Mania" which has a bet function in the game (double up feature). With two rows of buttons, you can do everything, play everything available for I Game Plus or Game King. As they said above, S/H is going to add a higher price tag. And, also remember that packing & crating is a seperate cost by some companies. So, if you can pick it up, do it. I myself didnt get a LCD either. I could get one around $650 -$700. So, I said maybe later, I'm saving for a WMS Bluebird system. Hope this helps, and hope you get your system soon and enjoy.
