Title: Re: making a coinless Sigma slot
Post by: jimmy c on October 16, 2010, 03:58:26 PM
I have a SIGMA SG 300  slot machine and in the message center is states "Call attendant wired meter disconnected".  In the coins played there is a zero and in the credit window it shows 4,236 and that is the correct amount. The only button light up is the cash out button.  Any suggestions as to how to fix the meter - there are no wires cut, frayed or disconnected.  Can anybody help me with this?

Look for the meter that is showing half a digit, that means it is bad.
Remove the two wires from it and connect it to another meter's wires.

or...hit it with a hammer.

To clarify, remove the two wires from the bad meter and connect them to the two wires of a good meter. Leave the bad meter disconnected, take the two wires that were connected to it and connect those two wires to another meter. End result - the bad meter is disconnected from anything. Of course hitting it with a hammer may dislodge the bad digit - never tried that one though.

No, there may be some equivalent dummy load you could install but I have not tried that one.

At worse case, you may have to replace the stuck meter.
Are you able to get the brand and model numbers off of it?

Hi Jimmy, first I would like to welcome you to NLG. Second,if nobody answerer's your post when you ask a question. it is not because they did not see it...they were not sure of how to tell you how to fix it. So,when you make a double post of the same item,it makes it harder to solve your problem. If you just want the game working, turn the meter check off. If you want the meters working(they get on my nerves,click,click,....) we can fix that also.
