HI  I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I CAN CHANGE THE WAY THE DISPLAY READS IN A IGT 2000 RT IDOJ MACHINE .IT DISPLAYS ( SCROLLS) PLAY 2 CREDITS  OTHER MACHINES I HAVE HAVE DOLLOR AMOUNT AND DENOM IN A SMALLER TEXT. DO I HAVE TO CLEAR AND KEY CHIP TO CHANGE DISPLAY OR IS THIS SET IN THE GAME  THANKS FOR ANY SUGESTIONS ON THIS   . PLUNGER BOY   

You probably need a newer version chip that supports split screen.  What version do you have installed now?  

You can create smaller text with your keyboard by unlocking the "Caps Lock" key.

I HAVE 5 OTHER 3 REEL MACHINES IGT 2000 .WITH DIFERENT  GAME THEMES  IF I REPLACE THE VERSION CHIP WILL THE OTHERS THAT SUPPORT THE ANOUNT / DEMONATION  BE THE SAME OR CAN I SWAP OR CHANGE OUT WITH THE OTHER CHIP (GAMES) WITH OUT CAUSING A LOT OF PROBLEMS THANKS PLUNGER BOY

Yeah, you can swap them out if you want to, but you will have to clear some errors and maybe the entire machine just depending on how they're set up.  Good luck....

ok ok...it was about version chips...

yeah swap any one you want...won't hurt...at the worse you'll get
a message that reads "incompatible version eprom"
or something like that...try a different until the message doesn't pop up
then key chip it to get into the options and
use the "preferred screen display" in the options settings.

I could be wrong on this but it's a crapshoot when you haven't told us what chips
you're using so we can look it up in a PSR and
see if your SB supports that "split VFD screen display" you're looking for.
