Why didn't you buy the sidewheel while you were at it? Then you would have had a place to put your slots, and a few months down the road, you could head to LA and open your own casino! :131- :131- :5- :200- Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: stayouttadabunker on October 24, 2010, 12:28:23 AM Where is this thing?
When are you gonna convert it to a full-sized multi-player Wheel of Fortune set up? :72- Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: stayouttadabunker on October 24, 2010, 12:47:16 AM wow..I found it...lol >>>

W Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: slotsteve on October 27, 2010, 06:26:26 PM Well after 3 short days of work we go most the stuff of the carousel that scrapers would steal for metal, we been getting rain every day after we get there so we have about 6 hours work on it so far taking it down, hope to move it out by next sat the guy that bought the land it sits on was there today watching how hard my wife was working sawing dow the iron fence , and told us he was in no hurry for us to more carousel, We hope to have it rebuilt in two years So thurdays I,ll give her the day off and head to nc to harrahs and see if we can get closer to 11,000 points we need to keep her diamond card
Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: a69mopar on October 27, 2010, 10:06:13 PM thurdays I,ll give her the day off and head to nc to harrahs and see if we can get closer to 11,000 points we need to keep her diamond card Hopefully she hit's a jackpot. I always tell my wife that I'm better to pay for the finest restaurants and hotels just to stay away from the "free meals" or "free stays" that the casinos give for playing. We still go though....Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: CaptainHappy on October 27, 2010, 10:20:48 PM thurdays I,ll give her the day off and head to nc to harrahs and see if we can get closer to 11,000 points we need to keep her diamond card Hopefully she hit's a jackpot. We still go though....Thanks, Wayne Wayne, I agree, most of my "FREE BUFFETS/MEALS" cost at least $100 - $300 - even $ :58- ,000+!!! :97- On rare occassion they were free with some cash back as well! I consider them entertainment! :71- CH :95- Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: slotsteve on October 27, 2010, 10:59:46 PM They give us alot :208- 1 point for every $5 your put in so to get 11,000 points you need to play 55k I think last time we went rooms cost us 850 for 1 nite, on thur we got between us 285 in free play,We are trying to get a million points then trun them in for cash right now we are at 700.000=3500 bucks cash back

Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: StatFreak on October 29, 2010, 01:01:09 AM 55K, WOW!!! Good Luck. You are doing your part to stimulate the economy. :3- :3- :3- :137- :137- :131- :131- $55k washed at a theoretical loss rate of: 11% (89 payback slot) = $6,050 comped at 5% of expected loss = $300, comped at 15% = $900 (this would include all RFB plus any gifts and cash back) 8% (92 payback slot) = $4,400 comped at 5% = $220, comped at 15% = $660 6% (94 payback slot) = $3,300 comped at 5% = $165, comped at 15% = $495 So you might be able to figure out how generous they're being with their comps based on what you've gotten back. Figure rooms at the casino rack rate, not retail. If you play $3 a spin (whether it's 3 single dollar credits, 300 penny credits, or 150 two-cent credits) at 600/hr, that's about 31 hours of play. Video slot play can top 900 spins per hour, depending on the player, so if you're playing $6 a spin at 900/hr between the two of you you could rack up those 11,000 points in as little as 10 hours of tandem play. Of course, smaller bets and slower play would take longer. <ADD> 700,000 points reflects $3.5 million in action. $3500 cash back (aside from all other comps) is 0.1% of the amount wagered. It's closer to 1%-2.5% of your theoretical loss, give or take. How long did it take you to build 700,000 credits? :128- Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: slotsteve on October 29, 2010, 09:58:27 AM The 700,000 is for both of us it,s been growing for about 10 years, but in harrahs in nc they don,t give free food so we use those points for food and they take 2500 points for us both, this year we are only using my card to play free play i get and maybe a few hundred more each trip, we been putting most the play on my wifes card , theres no way we can both play to get 11,000 points each so we will only try for 1 diamond card this year and we have 2 months to get 2500 more points, also its a 500 mile rt trip to go , thur we left at 7am got home at 8.00pm gave them 4 hours of play
Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: StatFreak on October 29, 2010, 10:58:00 AM Why don't you both play on one account? :103- Every casino I've ever been to will give you multiple cards for one account, and husband and wife team play gives you an edge over single players. If I were you I wouldn't split one nickel of play into a second account.
Title: Re: WOW WHAT HAVE I DONE Post by: rickhunter on October 29, 2010, 02:13:01 PM :25- :25- :25- The amount played does not equal money out of pocket, sometimes I just see a figure and go :5- :5- :5-. That being said, at an 89% payback is probably around where my LIFETIME wages are at. There was a very long period of time where I didn't go to Vegas. In fact when I turned 21 I was chomping at the bit to go, took 3 days there and didn't return until I was 30, then at 33. Now that we have local casinos here with Class III machines, my contribution to the economic stimulus and to the school budget has increased significantly. :72- :72- :72-
What "extra" benefits do you get out being diamond? I have a friend who has the Amex Centurion (Black Card) and he gets is :207- kissed pretty much anywhere he goes with it. It's crazy the amount of money he had to spend on his old Platinum card in order to get "invited" |
