Title: s2000 key chip
Post by: ashyron on May 11, 2009, 08:40:15 PM
I was wondering what key chip I need for fixing my printer problem.  I heard that I need a key 17 chip but also reading around I understand that the key 31 is the 'newer model' for that.  Is this correct??  I have an s2000 Crystal 7's RT machine and I don't know if I can post this but the numbers I have are as follows:

SB100097
SG000129 GME 1
SG000129 GME2

Use the Key 17 for that setup.  SG000129 only requires the Key 17.

Nevermind, I just answered my own question.  Yes, it works.   :89-

Did you get the printer working?
Also, is the key chip 40 pins?

Yes, :89- we were able to get the printer working so now when we cash out we get a Mancave Casino ticket.  Of course it isn't any good but it makes it easy to cash out when we have a high payout or when we have to do something that requires there to be no credits.  :3- Goodbye coins. :97-

As far as being a 40 pin chip, I assume it was, I was told it was :89- it fit right into the SG slot or whichever slot it was supposed to go into. :89-

Goodbye coins for the cash out. I find it easier giving my tokens a $20 or $50 value each and then I don't have to run bills through after family/friends run the credits down. They just add a few tokens and they're right back up there again!

Oh yes, just for the cash out. :71-  We can still put quarters in to the machine :89- so then the machine becomes a great big, heavy, chrome piggy bank.  :72-  But I do like the idea of having the tokens being more than they are.
