This monitor has the same failure components (different locator numbers) as the D9200 with reference to horizontal sweep. I have replaced all suggested components in the past, plus a couple of resistors that I have found, but have never been able to repair any of them. The transistors and resistors still fail at power up again. Has anyone come up with a better list of failure and repair parts for the "horizontal deflection" failure of these units? hi if you give me more info i can help you with your fault , have you checked you have correct ht with line o/c and ht dummy load , this fault is normally easy to correct have you checked your HOT flyback/ tuning capacitor , check also line drive transformer for dry joints/oxidised pins ,please let me know if more info required. esdave uk engineer. The failure components don't drive the high voltage transformer or circuit, but the horizontal deflection yoke. I contacted wells-gardner technical and also wanted to know what I had replaced and said that they would get back with me. Initially they said it could be caused by a defective yoke, but after I sent them a list of the components that I had changed, they never got back with me. If it is caused by a bad yoke, they monitor wouldn't be worth repair as it's intergrated with the crt. Dennis |
