hello, all....
and let me start by thanking you all for being here, and posting such a wealth of information....I'm new to the world of "slot ownership", rather than just feeding them in a casino.....

What I have now is an IGT Triple Diamond 2CM, set up for Ike's in the slot, and a DBV-145 CV.
Works ok, other than the "newer bills" being a no go in the DBV......

From what I can gather following the process laid out so well in other posts, it has a SS4079 game chip, and a 0872 reel prom.
(at least, those are the numbers that come up in "mode 4"....)

Machine shows a variety of build dates on the various components of between 10/94 >> 2/95, with an "in service date of 3/95.....
Based on what I've read, I am assuming (yeah, dangerous, I know...)that this is a S+ machine.....

So what's the problem? Well, the first is the DBV version....does someone out here have a newer way of reading bills that isn't "out there" in the pricing?

Also, the wife is not as fond of Triple Diamonds, as she is of Double-Triple Diamonds..... frying pan
Does anyone have the "kit" for making this happen?

Up here in No.Neva, south of Carson a few miles....but I tend to travel a bit, so other states locally is not a real issue.....

Again, thank you all for your previous postings....it truly helps, even as a "lurker".....
TTYS
Ian

You can replace the 145 with DBV 200 with the latest software about $50-$75, or if it is available change out the complete DBV parts to WBA for the S+/PE+ very pricey

NOTE: JCM says it is a drop in replacement for the 145
Some say you need to change the power supply.
You wont get the latest bills the DBV-200 lost support many years ago from JCM and IGT.

Putting in a WBA-12 will allow you to get up to the latest $5 you will pay $200-300.
200 for one on eBay no cash can, inner chassis or harness  I would figure another $100 or so for those parts.
You definitely wont get the new $100 that is coming out, unless some one convinces IGT and JCM to keep updating the 22/23 software on the WBA 12.

In fact after 2013 I will have to get a UBA or something else for my S2000, the WBA support ends after 2013.

Ian,
An updated DBV-200 will take all the bills in circulation except the new $5.  I am in Northern Utah and have them for $75.  PM if interested or if looking for anything else.  I also have some nice kits for the S+ Slant top.
