Dose anyone know if the igt made non back lit reel strips for the s2000 5 reel Cleopatra? Or do they all come from the MFG with back lit reel strips.

I've seen a lot of cleopatra strips and they were all backlit, but you don't have to use them that way. Five reel 9 line machines were made that way so the player could follow winning lines easier

I have never seen new Cleopatra strips.
But every one I've seen - are with back lit shadowing.
There are exceptional exceptions though...one just needs to be resourceful.

Yes, but that doesn't mean your strips are not back-lit strips -
someone basically robbed the backlit reels from that cabinet...  no
If you look behind your strips, there should be black or gray vinyl/Mylar shadowing
adhered to the back.

If you look at the backside of the strip on the number one reel in the pic, it looks like it is solid white, aka
not backlit

they are washable but i'm not sure what they are made of I have never had any reason to remove these strips as they were on the machine when I got it so I dont know if they have part numbers or not but I will try to peel one back as long as they come off farely easy
