Hi everyone:  fixed bad fuse 9/28/12


My s+ has been working great until today.  When I fired it up, the machine Glass lights came on, but the normal reel check did not spin.  I have no LED display lite, buttons are dead on door and white reset does nothing.

Bill acceptor motor does run when pulled and put back.

Any ideas?

That problem is usually caused by the power cable from the main power supply to the mother board
if you pull your hopper out there is a power cable coming off the side of the power supply and going to the mother board
the mother board end of that wire gets burnt a bit, try wiggling the mother board end of the wire and see if it comes back to life
also if you look at the connector you might see a Brown spot at one of the pins, if so you may have to replace the power cable

Thanks for info.  Will keep on fIle.  Problem was a loose fuse holder
