I had a problem with my IGT Game King which required a RAM clear. I had a few problems but managed to get it done (the reset switch had broken so was not working when pressed). Now when I switch on the machine the Bill Accceptor does not appear as an option on the menu and it doesn't run through its sequence when the machine powers up. The machine also seems to have 'lost' its credit settings - it now only show 1/2/3/4/5 credits per line rather than 1/2/5/10/25.
This is a machine at home, so I don't have ready access to programming chips, so if they are needed could you steer me in the right direction.

Thanks for your help. NLG is a wealth of information that is opening my eyes to the world of poker machines.

You need a key chip to enable most of those functions.  I'm sure one of our resident dealers can set you up.  You should probably post what software version you have so they can suggest the correct key chip (My guess is on Key 17).

How would I find the software version? I'm very new to the inside of these machines, usually putting money in rather than taking it out.

The machine came up with a low battery, then a NVRAM clear required message. The battery change was easy, the NVRAM clear took a little longer diagnosing a faulty reset button on the front of the processor tray.

The machine has IGT Monarch on the outside
Major Money & The Outback Adventure.
Game ID MC011X1
Game Version 1
PVersion 1.5.3

as i know the igt monarch is not the same as igt i-game. the monarch is exclusive for australia and NZL.

I saw a post where you put a motherboard image, the base ROM i guess is a big memory near to the big green cap. look the base number and you know what clearchip you will need.

you need clear the machine and re-configure, ssadly i can help at this step because i never use this kind of machine.
