front end for MAME (MAC 10.9) Info. (also Xcade info)

If you have a Mac and you are running Mavericks (10.9) you can't really run MAME.  You can kinda still run MACMAME but the list set is limited to what has been ported over years ago.  Here are directions (I'd admit its not perfect, and Im not a super user but, I got it to work) on using SDLMAME as a MAME server.  Now you can use Terminal to launch but, I found it a bit weird.  You can as well in the video shows how to use QMC2 as a somewhat of a GUI front end. 

*Just make sure when you build the SDLMAME make sure you build a ROMS folder (in the same area, it doesn't automatically do that for you) and remember your path names of your SDL file as the QMC2 folder requires the pathnames to start.

what about running bootcamp and firing up windows first ?

Yeah, I think thats the route (boot camp) Im going to have to take... I tried to get this up and running, and while it does run, however, NONE of the PE games will load.  And I know they are good clean games.  Oh, well theres a good old college try.
