what dose not easeley converted mean and how do you do it?

I have seen the statement not easeley converted to take coin, how do you sety a slot machine up to not take coin while still taking tokens and not easeley converted to take coin, if it has a coin comp you just change the sample coin ot token and now it takes that coin, if you wpoxey the sample in to the coin comp then you just change the coin comp once again easeley converted so how is this done to not be easeley converted if you put a mechanical coin acceptor and modify the optics once again just change those 2 parts out and your back to taking coins? all of the above are relitiveley easy mods to convert a slot back to coin, so what is the pereiment way to change it so its considered not easeley converted to accept coin? so what is the big secret to making this mod?

I've not seen that wording in a law, but here in K-K-K-K-Kaleeforneea they don't make exceptions like that. If it looks like  slot, it's illegal unless it's older than dirt.

But seriously, as you've already pointed out, there's really no way make it "not easily converted to coin". Even better, the law doesn't specify what the difference is between "easily" and "not easily", so they can choose their definition when they get you into court and tailor the meaning so you're guilty no matter what!

Well when I saw that wording I to wondered about the interpretation of the law and if you did every thing possible even included a warning label about changing it back to coin would that change the liability of the matter from the one who epoxied the token to the coin comp and strapped it in to the holster and installed a warning label if that would hold up in a legal situation, so now by changing it back to coin the one changing it back would be breaking the law. Just a thought but there might be a way to make it not so easy and that is the response I was hoping to get from some one who has more knowledge and experience than I.

The people who make these laws design them so they umbrella everything
that could be possibly legal about owning/selling a slot machine that has been altered - is illegal.
If you are serious about making a machine so it is legal to sell, then you need
to make an inquiry of this question to a very good lawyer.
The legal implications are of a serious nature and you must be completely
covered from all liability should someone alter a machine after they've purchased it.
I would seek the counsel of a gaming lawyer for sound advice.

All I was required to do after I bought my S+ was sign a form stating my home state and that the machine would stay as token play and that I understood that converting back to coin play was illegal. They kept a copy and I got a copy. That does not mean anything. Like for example, slotmachines usa will sell to anyone, they claim on their website that slot machines are legal in all states as long as they are not used for gambling. On the other extreme, LA Slots says that it does not matter if the unit takes coins, tokens, free play, etc. it does not meet your states restrictions, they won't sell it to you, period. (But you are always welcome to pick it up hint hint wink wink)..
