machine had error code 12 so i changed the battery and now this is all i get is code 61 2. what is that code and how do i get rid of it?

Open the door and press the white button for a few seconds, should change to a 61-1. Then close door and turn jackpot key one time. Should be good to go

the only white button inside the machine is a cherry switch by the optic sensor but there is no wires hooked to it....also i would like to get rid of the optics on it, just wondering the best way to wire a switch

If this is an S+ machine , the button in question is next to the  power switch. Post pictures please !  Please Post Pictures

If you don't see the white test button next to the power switch, look behind it. On some S-Pluses, the white test switch is mounted behind the power switch on the backside of the switch box instead of on the front side. That's IGT for you - go figure.
