The quarters dropped in on start up drop into the cabinet thru a hole in the right back corner of the slot case instead of going into the hopper.  After the first handle pull you heard a coil pickup and from then on all quarters go into the hopper, is this the correct operation or is something wrong?  Machine plays great and pays out correct.  If this is wrong any idea were to go?  Thanks for reading Jim

the first coin(s) will drop thru the hole in the machine until the first handle pull - the divertor coil does not activate until then unless you manually reset the machine.  so the answer is YES this is normal
