I am currently helping a friend repair a Jennings Indian Head Slot Machine. According to the person he bought it from said “it just quit working” I am sure this is not the first time anybody has heard that one!!!

However, he fell for it.

The current problem we are having is the following; you are able to pull the handle with out depositing any coins; the reels do spin and lock into position. I am not sure if the payout works yet. I will worry about that later.

After studying a manual for the Jennings Slots I have observed some hardware missing. I believe I have determined the problem to be the Second lever for the coin detector is missing……

I have disassembled the springs that place the pressure on the levers and can simulate the locking mechanism to function properly.

If the lever for the coin detector is missing, is there anywhere to get the parts? I am also missing the bracket that the levers would slide into.

I think the machine is worth fixing…..

Included are pictures of the internals of the machine
