I have a machine that does not have the bill validator hardware installed. This is ok as I do not want paper money usage...just quarters. The bill validator bezel and hole where it used to be looks a little incomplete. I was wondering if there are any blank caps or bezels that can be used to blank this out..or any good looking and relatively inexpensive options. Thanks much....

I seem to remember that someone here used Stainless Steel shiny chrome looking outlet box covers and fashioned a way to hold it in place? Here is a link to an example from Lowes. I way be totally wrong, but I think that something like this is what someone has used....

The thread about it must be somewhere here...... Crazy

I'll bite on that blanking plate from ebay. probably a bit more expensive than a plate from hardware store but it will beat it on looks. Bring front and center it is worth the extra few bucks (shipping, etc). I plan to sell the existing bezel and it may be close to a wash.  I will install once Io receive and post picture. I assume installation is pretty straight forward but any instruction on that would be helpful.  I know I came to the right place and this 1st project has been fun so far...

Received blanking plat and installed. Here are the before and after. I did run into an issue with the blanking plate sitting up a bit on the front of the chrome on the bottom edge, but was able to dremel out a little of the opening to get it to sit flush...I am very happy with the results.

Here is a full shot of validator delete . Any market for the old bill validator bezel???

Also, lots of scratches on the chrome around this...any ideas on how to remove...how about buffing with dremel and buffing bit?

You can hide the front of it with a bill acceptor sticker but your DBV doesn't work anymore... Duh!
Yoeddy applied some sort of a finish to his machine...
I think Poppo also painted his button deck with something.
Get a hold of those guys... yes

BTW  Didn't someone do a camo job on their machine once?
