Hi all, I have a Bally Five which was made in Dublin, what I would like is the bell to ring on Bars and Sevens for the big jackpots.
As you can see from the picture the loom is there, but when I trace the loom it is cut inside the machine no where near the reels etc.  This is cabinet is possibly of an different game, how difficult would this be to get it up and running?

Really enjoying OldRenos posts really helpfull!

Many thanks.

I think they run the bell circuits through the lower portions of the reel wipers. It is a separate circuit, so you have to cut your wipers (in the back) so that you don't feed 50V into your new 6V bell circuit. It might be a bit of a job, and you will need at least one (two) unused pins on your reel mech Beau plugs. But then again this is a 5 line pay, so it might get hairy to do.
Of course you could add a set of points onto your payout relay to have it ring on all pays, but that might get annoying.
Look at the backs of your reel boards, to see if the lower portions of the boards are used or not.  It may be that the bell circuit is already wired in. Look to see if you have a solid blue (20) wire coming out of the lower portion of your 1st reel board.  You probably have very busy and full reel boards, since it's a 5 line pay...? 5 line pays are a different critter altogether, and the pay structure is very set.
Hard to modify pays because it is quite inflexible. Something to do with above and below the line cuts, and blah blah blah.
It's probably do-able, but a project. For sure.
