61 code and 99-5 code to S+

I have two issues on S+ machines "Black Widow " first seems to be the 61 loop can not clear that after the cmos bat failure / replacement
tried to swap with a 1271 this is a 1213 and reset ,but does not work !!!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
and of course used the method with test switch and jackpot key
 It seems I need the clear chip Edited to comply with TOS

On another machine " Triple Bonanza " I got the 99-5  code if I am quick  after power on  I can insert a coin and run a play  but after that goes immediate to  99-5  code
hardware error  grrrrrrrrrrrrrr again,,,,,,,,,

99 5 does not clear with open and close door

on your first issue, you will need a clear chip and a set chip.  you will have to purchase these from the vendors located on the home page. Jim at Blueridge Slots is a great source for these.


on the second issue, 99-5   that is a bill acceptor hardware failure.  unplug the plug for the power supply of the bill acceptor, this should take it out of the loop and disable it and allow the game to be played using coins only. then you will have to troubleshoot the bill acceptor.  only the transport, head, cash can, power supply or harness could be your problem.  you could sub with parts from the other machine to find problem.
