Hey has anyone seen this code before?

The machine will sit there just fine, no issues.. then once every 2 hours or so.. It beeps then shows 99 in the win window and 2 in the paid window.. If i open the door and close it, it clears..

Just wondering what would cause this on idle.. with no one playing it..

Thanks

Steve

Steve,
I have two of these machines and never have I seen a 99 code. The codes in the manual only go up to 91?? Not sure what this is. Is it doing anything else strange while in play mode? By the way I just sent you a pm.

-Code-    - Description -                      -Definition-
99        Severe Failure         An error has been detected with the
MPU board. A diagnostic self check has
                                         determined that memory is uncorrupted.
                                         The error is recoverable

Yeah its a 99 in the wind paid.. and a 2 in the credits...

If the machine sits there on idle for a couple hours.. I will here the error tone.. and check machine and that's what it says.. I open the door and close the door.. it puts the credits back in the credit window.. and everything is normal again..

I know i could not find anything on "99" as well..

Thanks for your input..

Maybe I will have to get new ram chips?
