Was working, put in a new power supply harness, fuses OK.   Because the reels are stiff , the CPU is getting power, and the BV grinds away. The denomination sticker lights up.  Have seen this problem a dozen times, but not with stiff reels.

I guess you could have a defective display or maybe it's not connected.  Does the gmae play?

Bob, got it !!!   It was  dirty contacts on the display plugs.   When I reattached the two plugs , the display sprang to life.  Thanks for pointing me in the right direction !   Gordy
