I have a friend that has an E2000 machine. Does anyone know where the reset switch is located. I have searched the machine over and can't find. Any help would be appreciated.

the reset and test buttons are on the hopper control board - the left button is reset - the right button is test.

thanks for the info. K+. The machine has an error code 50 that won't clear. The switch on the door bracket appears to be good. Any ideas and is there anywhere the function of the test switch is explained. Thanks again

the 50 000 is door open - there maybe a e-series op manual in nlg not sure

I found a manual. It says there is a lock cam switch in series with the main door switch. I didn't see any switches  for the cam on the door lock. I aasume this is what they are talking about. It could be someone has shorted out this switch. If this is not the case where is this switch located ????

the lock cam switches are usually disconnected (white/blue wire and grey/green?) - the other switch is behind the door hinge (bottom) which is a normally open - closes when door is closed.  None of this has any bearing on  your machine having a 50 000 code - try running a 2 test and see if the lights and coils activate - then close the door while this test is running - meter will then change to the 50 000 indicating door switch is working.

Hay there idylewild1,

Hope you got your machine up and running.  I just wanted to point out for any others reading here- A code 50.000 is a normal indication after you close the door.  It wont "clear" until you successfully run a coin and pull the arm.
