A friend PM'd me about a set of S+ Hopper Optics that he bought on ebay and
wanted to know if they was a way he could check the optics to see if they were any good?
I proceeded to explain that he could go into the tests and run his hopper to spit out 10 coins.
He stopped me and said..."They're NOT attached to the top of the hopper"..... rotflmao

okay...I thought  Scratch Head 3 about for a second and came up with this solution for him as
the only tools he had was a bench top power supply (hmm...good, I thought)
and a logic probe...(excellent!!!  yes )
This was my solution for him!>>>>

K+ from me as well.

A quick and dirty way to check them, too, if one doesn't have all the fancy equipment that Bunker has, is to hook the optics up to the machine (no need to mount on the top of the hopper), remove the coin tray from the machine and close the door, letting the optics sit outside of the machine through the opening created by the removed coin tray.  Once the machine is in its idle state, break the beam of the optics -- the machine should respond with a coin-out / extra coin out tilt on the display.
