I'm in the market for a Game King and have my eye one what I believe to be one but the glass from what I can see in the picture says Multi Game but doesn't say Game King. It's touchscreen 12 game and has the same games that many Game Kings have such as Caveman Keno and Bonus poker and such.

Here's some info about this particular machine:
Date of MFG 8/98
Model #96407600
It has a bill validator but no hopper and no ticket printer so it would be hand pay only. I dont know if the hopper was removed because it has the track for it but no coin tray or coin slot. Does this make sense?

Is this a Game King?
Is this a machine that I would want or do I wait to find something newer?
It's my understanding that these machines can have 50+ games in them... is this correct?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Jim

The model # is a gameking but can't say if it's a good buy unless we know the price.

I'm looking at it for $650.
How did you identify the machine from the model number?  I tried to google anything I could think of using that number and came up with nothing.
Is this a machine that can be loaded with more games or is twelve the max. I understand that twelve on the screen at any one time but I thought I understood that gamekings can store more games? Is this correct?
Thanks for the help, Jim

Upright.
Can the hopper assembly be put back in and be able to dispense coins again?

I have that same model number and it's a 13" upright Game King.  I agree with Rocket, $650 is a good deal for one, even without the hopper/coin in parts.  You can always buy those and install them later if you want to.

As far as games go, it depends on the software that is installed on the board.  You can select up to 12 games (assuming the software has 12 games to begin with) per denomination.  If the software supports multi-denomination then you can select 12 games for say 5c, then have 12 different ones assigned to 10c and so on.  Software is easily obtained if you don't like what is installed.

Let us know how it goes.

How can I reference the model number? Would that tell me exactly what it has or did have originally? Is there a file somewhere that someone has and can send me? It would be helpful for future aquisitions as well.
Thanks
