One of my Game Kings sometimes starts correctly, sometimes it says "Sound rom signature error, replace the sound rom". The software is GK 5.0. Is there any good tricks propeller to do?

I thought GK 5.0 was Simm based with eproms only for the base and game eproms?

Clean the contacts on the Sound SIMM Memory module (on top of the MML2 board).

otherwise replace if it does not clear up the issue.

PM if you need more help.

The eraser on end of a pencil works great, and also have seen dust build up around the dipswitch cause it as well, just blow the card off with air as well

I had a parallel problem with my memory cards in a desktop computer
( which have contact tabs very similar to Simm sound cards).
I went onto a computer website to ask what I could do and it was
suggested to me to use an rubber eraser like Blueridge said.
I tried it and my computer worked like it was brand new! yes

Cool!
What does this "glass fibre"  pen look like?
I don't think I've ever heard of this kind of a pen. Scratch Head 2 Scratch Head 3
