So I ordered a set of belly glass door cables from Jim.  I get home from work and immediately head to the mailbox and see the envelope with the cables is in the mail.  It is.  I then go in the house and dial into a conference call for work.  While muted out on the call, I'm at my machine changing out the cables.  Do they add any performance?  No.  Do they make it sound cooler?  No.  But the satisfaction of being able to lower the door down and have the newly installed cables hold the door instead of the ratty old one that was holding it up, brings my machine that much closer to perfection.  Sure don't remember any of the conference call that I was supposed to be paying attention to.

Anyone else obsess over their machines?  I've actually taken time off from work or worked remotely from my house, just so that I can screw with my machines.  Anyone else do this?   Silly Me! Silly Me! Silly Me!

I must be one of the 90% then who have a slot machine obsession... What started out with a non working Bally Money Honey machine and 3 yrs of tinkering, that was before I found New Life Games, has turned into a collection of 5 Bally EM's, 5 Bally E-Series, 1 Bally 5500 Slant top, 2 older Mills, a Jennings penny machine, and a garage full of non working parts machines.... Yea I'd say I have an obsession... Help arrow

If you want to keep your chrome clean just hook up a remote control to your machine like i did my wife's and the only time you have to touch the machine is to put credits on it. Got off of ebay and it works great from all over the house. Plugs in to power board in top box and run two conductor cable down to max credits button and your good to go. here's the link
