Thanks a bunch guys!  I might have a C7 reel glass coming soon too.  I'll provide another update when that piece is done.  Smiley

Maybe I am missing something but Is frosting appropriate for most glass where the white mylar has ripped or is this just for certain themes that were previously frosted ?

I would do this for ANY game that has damaged frosting.  One thing that I also noticed was that the original frosting (what was left anyway) was also a dirty white in color probably due to the casino smoke over the years.  This rework produces a nice bright white color especially with the fluorescent lighting inside of the cabinet.  Not sure about a workaround for ripped mylar.

Thanks,
Jason

Ok, below are a couple of photos of the completed Crystal Sevens project.  Again, HUGE thanks to Darrell (CVslots) at Central Valley Slots for his generosity with the matching reel glass.  I honestly thought this would be a "search for a needle in a stack of needles" circumstance, but it just goes to show that this world is still full of kind individuals...and I think a good portion of them reside on this forum.  NLG, send a boat load of K+'s Darrell's way.

Anyway, the reel glass has frost on the outside of the glass similar to the top and belly glass and i scraped it off to match the other pieces.  Fortunately with the reel glass, there was no need to frost the back side as I had with the other pieces as the frosted lines have a mirror finish on the back side of the glass.  The other bonus is that the glass is in near perfect shape, which really helps a crazy nut like me.

 Crazy

Here are a couple of photos with a video clip soon to follow:

Thanks,
Jason
