That would be great to hear how it sounds in the Double Diamond. But please only when you get a chance. I will be going out of town Thursday and won't be back till Sunday. You can wait till then if you want. Also I guess I will be needing a DSV00042 and possibly another  MMBL2 any suggestions?
A member mention a place in the beginning of this thread. I guess I can check there also.

Here's a video of a Double Diamond Haywire, but it represents the sounds of a DSV00042.  I would order a DSV00042, and install it on the MM2 in your Double Diamond.  Go into your set up menus and configure the "preferred" sound options reflected in the video.  If all sounds good, remove the MM2/DSV00042 in your Double Diamond and throw it into your RWB.  See if the menu options are available once installed in that machine and play around with it.

Thanks,
Jason

edison   Take a look at your DD Base chip. If it's a SB001000 and has a SS chip installed, I can do a exact test with one of my machines.

That's the one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK I believe I got it now. I will need 1- MMBL2 with standoffs and 1-DSV00042 SIMM  No Clear chip or key chip procedures are necessary just mount the MMBL2 to the mother board, install the DSV00042 SIMM  to the MMBL2 , reboot the machine and the sound menu will now have all the new optional sounds showing, and Blue Ridge has it all.

Sound Right?

The SS chip is the labeled 28 pin IC middle right close to the MMLB in your picture
it is the one that not filling up the socket, since the socket is 32 pins.

Let me see if I have it right. You have one sound board need two,  you have 0 simms and need two. ( that is if your going to do both machines ) I don't think you will have to do a Key, but if you don't have a key chip, get a key 31 from Jim with the other parts. Sooner are later your going to also need a 97 clear chip, up to you.

When you get the SIMMs you will have to go into sound setup.  It's not hard at all, if I can do it, it has to be easy!! All that has been covered a bunch in the last week or so. If you want both machines to sound the same, get 2 DSV00042 seems some folks have a DSV00024. I can't or won't tell you which one to get. Your choice.

I have to run into town and will play around with a machine with a SB001000 when I get back.
