 Scratch Head Scratch Head CAN ANYONE HELP ME , ON DOWNLOADING A MANUAL FOR IGT SLAT TOP MACHINE, I AM A NEWBEE AND OVER MY HEAD RIGHT NOW Cry Laughing,I HAVE 61-1  ERRORS,AND WHEN I RESET NOTING HAPPENS, THIS MACHINE IS USED AND ALL THE DOOR SWITCHES AND OPTICS HAVE BEEN REMOVED Help HOW CAN I BYPASS THIS PROBLEM OF OPTICS AND DOOR SWITCHES.

I don't have a manual, but if your getting a 61-1 code you may not need to worry about those optics.
Have you tried turning the reset key? if so what does it do then?
If nothing, then yes the machine IS seeing an open door somewhere. You will then have to re-establish proper operating optics to move forward.

after  i turn machine on i get 61 code, when i push self test, i  get 61-1 code, and nothing else

Is there a cherry switch wired instead of the door optics?  Are you sure that the door optics were removed?  You've got to give us more information to run with.  Pictures of your machine and the mods that were apparently done to it would be helpful, too.  We want to help you, really, but we just don't have enough information.

For what it's worth, on a normal S+ machine with optics, once you've moved a 61 to a 61-1 by pressing the self test button for a few seconds, the next step is to close the door completely and then turn the jackpot reset key.

REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT A CHERRY SWITCH IS, HOWEVER , I WILL SEND PICTURES VERY SOON,
