Hello everyone;
    Got a problem, this game is showing a 6 in the WINNER PAID window, cant find what that is in the manual. I was told the problem started when the owner placed a old soft $100 in the BV and got stuck.

    Need help guys, the owner is an old retired Vet of WWII, and he has great stories and he loves his machine. So I am help him out at no cost.

    Cliff, where are you at, tried to call you.

There is no error 6 on an S+.

Perhaps the machine recently paid out six coins?

mmmmm, super confused Scratch Head   When it is turned on, it does the spin cycle on the reels and
then a 6 pops up in winning paid, and cant got any furture.  Tried reset, no change. When I go over there tomorrow, I'll take a video of it so you can see exactly.

There may be something else wrong with the machine, but it sounds like the display is simply indicating that the last cash out was for 6 credits. What do you mean when you say "tried reset"? There is no reset on an S+, unless you use a clear chip (although removing and replacing the CMOS, swapping significantly different SP chips, or using a SET chip can, in some cases, solve some issues.)

Hello Everyone;
          I just to say thank you for all the help. After reading all the comments, I went back for a fresh look and start. I solved the problem. Thank you everyone.

         I got the S+ working. The owner of the machine called a slot tech "Larry" loser to work on the machine to clear a jammed $100 bill. He cleared the machine, busted the Spin button switch somehow pulled the lite wire from the female connector and did a few other little stupid things. Anyway, part of the plastic clip that holds the spin button switch got lodged in the BV. That is why it kept stopping. The 6 was credits won just as you guys said. I saw the six and instantly thought it was an error number. So after removing the plastic peice, everything worked fine. I went to the warehouse to get replacements needed for the broken parts, All is good now and working fine.
         So thank you everyone for helping out a fellow Vet  waving flag. All your inputs put me back on track. The bad thing is this slot reck charged $195.00 for 20 minutes for work and didnt even fix the broken item.

K+ for everyone +1 (Karma, or whatever) +1 (Karma, or whatever) +1 (Karma, or whatever) and me for helping a vet at no cost  Me, too!

applauseTHANKS AGAIN EVERYONE  wave
