Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of a list anywhere that shows all the different games for a Bally 5000 along with the numbers for each chip? I have a friend that has a large quantity of Bally 5000 parts that we are trying to sort through and I can't find a list anywhere that would help me sort out which chips belong to which games. Have 8 machines and enough extra parts for probably 10 more so sorting through it all can be tough.

I know there is a list of some sort for the Bally 6000, I was just hoping that someone had something similar for the elusive 5000 as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Nobody?

Is there any way to tell which chips go with certain games or is it a case of just trying them out in a machine to see how many coins it will accept and then trying to figure out the payouts for it to tell if it goes with one of the glass kits that they have. Trial and error on that many chips and games would take forever so hopefully somone has a better idea  Duh!

Don't know of a list if you take the time to do this on your own we would love to have this info. Also good luck with this project sounds fun.

It just crossed my mind that I don't think I've ever seen a Bally 5000 machine...
can you show us a picture of one?

My avatar picture is a round top bally 5000. I've got it on sale on craigslist right now just to see if anyone wants a project machine now that I have two working IGTs instead.
