Hi,

Machine: IGT VISION  "FOX N HOUNDS"

When I got the machine, the bill acceptor had been removed, probably kept by the casino technician.

I took one working one from an S+ but no result.

I then looked into the different threads then tested this:

Self Test
  4 I/O Tests
     Spin reels switch
     3 Auto-Configure Netplex Devices.
        Press Spin Switch 2 times.
        display shows Netplex Auto-config in progress

All I got was a " Bill ACCEPTOR NOT RESPONDING"

Is a chip needed? If so, which one, please?

I have attached a couple of pictures showing the inside of the machine, this loose cable puzzles me, would anyone be so kind as to tell me what it is?

I could be mistaken, but I thought BVs were programmed differantly for S+ and S2000 games. The S2000 may not recognize the S+ BV even though they are both IGT games. If it's a WBA validator it can be reprogrammed for the S2000. Fanini slots in AZ is good at doing this.
