I wanted a slot machine for the man cave that I'm outfitting and came across a Mr. Magoo slot machine.  Seems to function really well currently but no manual came with it to tell me how to maintain it, what all the stuff does inside it, etc...   Are there any sources of knowledge out there for these types of things?  Also, I know that this one was from the Borgatta(sp?) but that's in AC.  I'm not sure what their payback is or if this machine is even still set at what it was.  I know they always say that their slots are set to pay back at 99.x% or whatever.  Is that something that can be set on the machine?  I know when I use this one key it brings up a menu of stuff with headers that say Accounting, Diagnostics, Configuration, Configuration and Exit.  I can only navigate through Accounting it looks like since when I press the Left and Right buttons it clicks but doesnt go to the other categories.  Accounting has stuff under it like Meters, Win Records,Game Recall, SD Admin (which has been disabled), Printed Ticket history and Redemtion history.

Anyway, any pointers anyone has about how I should take care of this machine would be very much appreciated.  Family and Friends love it already so I want to make sure it sticks around for a long while..  I've attached a couple of pics of what the unit looks like...

you can't have credits on the machine when you try to change the configuration.   The best way to maintain the machine is to keep the door closed.  These are built for casinos that run 24 hours a day and stay locked until they open them to take out the bills, or load ticket paper.  The bill head can accumulate crudand they get cleaned from time to time, but that's in a casino environment where people spill their"free"drinks in and on the machines without a care.  If you do ever think of cleaning the BV, never use any cleaners, only water to dampen a microfiber cloth.  I would wait until it needs it also, in other words, if it's working fine, then leave it as is.

Thanks,

Wayne
