Hello All

PE+ is working (Mostly).

Running on V2 of Andy's App with a USB to DCS interface (more info to follow) - XP000153 on machine. Getting events and bonus transfers work. SAS Ver,Meters and Machine Id buttons all cause game to reset. Not sure if this is due to the timing issues that Andy is working on or because its such a old SAS version (V4.2)

See attached for results

Ian

That's great news!  K+

Your attached document appears empty, however.

That's awesome TZ!
I'm glad you got it to work pretty good!
To where on the backplane are you hooking up the serial cable end to?

J6 - Looks the same as the S+ connector.
I used a USB to TTL converter - more here - http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=11893.0

Here's the image that TZTech posted, for the benefit of those without MS Word/OpenOffice/etc.

Ian: If you're working on a Windows based machine, you should have "Paint" on there (Start > Programs > Accessories > Paint) -- you can paste your screengrab into there and save it as an image file.   propeller

Also...

Looks like I cant edit a attachment - lets try again.

Instead of the inline Edit function, click the "Modify" button in the upper-right corner of your post.  You can un-check the box for the existing attachment to delete it, and also upload a new one if you want (I suspect you might run into an issue if the file name of the new upload is the same as the original one -- you may want to change it by a character to make it different).

Sorry I am a bit unclear here.......

You have a USB to TTL (commerically available ???) converter that is connecting directly to the PE+ without any other boards ??
or are you using one of the factory SAS boards ?? or have you modifed something from the vaious schematics that are floating about.....

Jay

Yep - direct to backplane no additional interfaces required ( just need the connector and wires)
