Try setting the credit limit to 9999 and the hopper limit at 0 or 1.

Credit limit is the maximum number of credits the machine can accumulate before going into a handpay or paying from hopper
Hopper limit is the maximum coins that can be paid from the hopper any pay higher should result in a handpay.

set 51 to as high as you want 9999   then set 54  to 0 and 56 to 25 this will only let machine payout 25 coins the difference between 54 and 56 is what will be paid, then hand pay the rest

Actually AcePeter, setting both 54 and 56 to 0 will make all events a hand pay, which I think is what you want.

The complete Bally manual is very large and hard to upload without timing out, but section 2 (Setup and Operation) is in the Submit a New File section right now.
You can also RIGHT click this direct link to the file and select "Save Link As" to get the document. This is the section which covers the settings in question.

If both were set to 0 wouldn't the bells go off for any hit? or is that just for jackpot setting?
