Have a Bally In The Money 5 line. I read an old post from this site that said to press the test button and the number that appeared on the right of the credit display is your pay %.
If this is indeed true, my payout % is 85%. How would I change this. Is it a chip change, as I have read? Any info would be appreciated.

LOL....look to the right of the U28&U43
You have smi 9644 in the picture which is 87%

smi 9649 would be the highest you could get at 97%
so anything between 9645-9649 will work for you.

OH, LOL
This is my first Bally, my wifes all time favorite slot. Mine is Bally Mystic Lamp... Gave up looking for that one.
I have 2 IGT S2000's and they are much easier to work on that these Bally's.
I just LOVED how I had to enter the printer text that I wanted on the vouchers. Hexidecimal.......Argh, that took a while. LOL

I appreciate your help, but one more request if you don't mind.
Can you recommend a good web site for Bally parts?

Thanks again for all your help,
MUCH appreciated

Jim

I find Bally 6000 much easier to work on than the S2000
or I should say they break down less than the S2000'S...LOL that might open a can of worms
anyway congrats on entering the ticket message you are on the way to being a pro.
Oh I guess you love the 5 liners huh...Mystic lamp..cool game.

Bally parts no need to look any farther than here, post a want
in the classified section or the vendors on the top of the page can help
I would recommend Jim Blueridge for starters.
