Hi all - I just got a new game kit for my 5500.  When I plug in the new chips the machine gets error code 80 and blinks 3 time is succession.   Is there anything at all I can do? or is it just a case that the personality chips are bad and I am out of luck Sad

They are Overload 7024 chips.

Did you do a ram clear? Because that happened to me and the ram clear did the trick..

I tried desperately to do a ram clear but with no luck.   When I set the jumper and try I still get the error. I tried reversing the personality chips too.  No luck.  What type of equipment would I need to verify/backup/program these chips on my computer?

They are 96000 chips.   I think they are ok because when I put my old blazing 7's chips back in the board works.

I just swapped out the mains for the 92000 but still have error 80.  I should be getting new personality chips today.  Hopefully this will solve the problem.
