I have a chance to get a monitor with a  Ceronix 1493 but the tube size seems
wrong. The add says its a 15" screen but the Ceronix site says
it should be a 13" screen. The chassis # is CPA4236.

Any one know what it can be?

Only thing I can think of off hand is that the seller is measuring the actual glass and not going by the viewing area which is how they're measured in the industry. If you have a model # it should denote screen size. For example a 1372XXXX monitor might measure 15" sitting on your floor, but would only have a 13" viewing area when mounted and framed in a cabinet

Thanks cowboygames

That's what I was thinking but I wanted a second opinion
from some one smarter than me to make sure.

Lol! I just have the benefit of having been in consumer electronics repair for 20 years. Are you getting this as a replacement for an existing monitor? If so, have the seller measure the screen diagonally and check it against yours. Unless it's free, then take it anyway because you'll find a use or person who needs it someday:)

Now you know why I posted this here because I knew that a smarter person
than I would speak up with their words of wisdom to us newbies that are
looking to learn some thing new.

Yes, I'm getting it to replace a SEGAI  13" in a Bally V5500. I measured my 13"
and the outside tube diagonally is just under 15" but I wasn't 100% sure
if that was what was happening.
The CPA4236 is a Bally chassis and I think it would work for my slot.
It will cost me about $90 total with shipping.
