Or 2.

I realize they will be projects, and welcome that, and it seems probable that I could at least get 1 working out of the 2 and maybe recoup some of the cost from parts if I run into too much broken stuff.

The asking price is $400 for a pair.

They are advertised as 1982, but I don't know the titles yet. I assume they are E2000 or E3000 ?

Also, any warnings would be appreciated. Am I getting into 2 cans of worms ? I mean, in general. I know it depends on the condition, but some things just are can's of worms due to scarcity of parts, lack of schematics, etc.

I have the time to work on them to get them restored, but wouldn't want to dump a bunch of money constantly. Or get into the constant troubleshooting scenario like the older pinball machines with their gazillion relays and contacts.

I'd also like to get a copy of the manual so I could do some tests and look at the schematics to see if everything is there when I go to look at them.

Thanks in advance.

Hello... The machines in question should be E-1000 or E-2000 models. I guess it depends on the over all condition of the machines, hows the chrome looks, the cabinet, the glass.. How long have the been sitting, are they single coin or multi coin and line games... The manuals and parts and of course the advice to fix them can all be found here at Newlifegames. Barry Fox at Foxsslots has many if not most of the parts you would need to fix them a I my self have some extra parts too. You can post a WTB ad in the classified section or see what might be for sale. To me $400 for the 2 machines seems a bit high, but prices are different all over the country. I guess if your comfortable paying that then go ahead, but I would try a lower offer, but that's me... yes

If it's jammed, force it... If it breaks it needed to be replaced anyway...

Thanks for the response.

I'm going to go take a look at them tomorrow.

Does anyone have an electronic copy of the manual they could forward me or put in the Upload Files Directory ?

I'd sure like to be able to run the tests ...
