Hello everybody,

i own a Bally Alpha S9000 reel machine and would like to put a printer in it. But i have no chance to get it work. It is a SEIKO PSA 66 model. It has two connectors; one big and one small with only 2 wires. I could not find a compatible connector for the 2-wire connector so i left it open and connected only the big one. The printer has power; the led on it lit. But i have no chance to get it work because of the software settings. I always get errors like "Printer communication error". I have tried several different setting, but i cant get it work.

Could somebody perhaps helps me with the settings? Thanks a lot.  wave

Hi

My
Friend.

Instead of Gen1 Future Logic you d better use a Gen2 or Ithaca 950.
Very simple and easier.

Good Luck.

Hi,

thanks a lot for your help.

Meanwhile i have installed a new game in my Bally Alpha with newer software. My ticket printer is a Seiko PSA but the software only supports a Future Logic, Ithaca 850 and 950. When i set it to Future Logic i could print out a test ticket but during playing the game and pushing the ticket out button, the machine does not print a ticket but goes in hand pay modus.

I guess i will need a Ithaca 950 printer and install it?

Many greetings, Dennis

Hi

Dennis

Thanks for your interest.
At this moment I am setting up a printer in my Bally 9000.
For any reference pin-out for Epic 950 or Gen2 are found on the web.
Remember when you are at process firmware should be in the local currency.
In my case printers has to have Pesos firmware.
Thanks and success.
