Ok, I now own my first slot machine, when I got this one I knew it had a problem and I was hoping to resolve the issue.  I just don't know enough about slot machine maintenance to fix it.  Here is what I have going on....

First my problem started with a reoccurring error 82 after about 10-15 spins.  This would not clear with a turn of the key on the right side.  I attempted a memory clear to no avail.  I noticed the batteries were swapped out by the previous owner and the battery is now a three AA battery holder soldered to the MPU board.  Not sure if the original was NI-MH or not, but that is what is in it now.

I attempted a memory clear with memory clear chips, but that also didn't appear to work... when I do a memory clear by holding the pseudo button I get an error 83.

To make things worse, now I am getting an error 31 hopper error... can anyone help me with that?  Where is the optical sensor located for the hopper?

Power supply voltages appear to be within tolerance.

thanks
Rich
