This is like a good Mystery. Can't wait to see the insides.
Please be very careful & don't break the glass. Drill on the side lock where the lever is.. Too bad you can't find a good lock smith . Med-Co's  can cost big bucks.

If it was a Mummy or Musters their could be Bats inside. Oooh, I can't wait much longer.

Chances are that if the cord was cut in a hurry, there may be a prize inside!

Sorry about posting the same pic twice last time, don't know how to delete it.  So I think I found someone to come over to drill the first lock.  Should we drill the 3rd one too?

Sorry guys for the late reply!  I still haven't opened it yet Sad  My friend flaked on me so I went to do it myself with my husband's drill (he's working) but it needed to be charged.  So I go to put the battery on the charger and he freakin FRIED THE CHARGER!  Apparently he left it plugged in and the whole thing was melted.  Now just think, this was in our bedroom right next to his gun case so he could have burnt down the whole house.  Who knows how long that thing's been plugged in!

Unfortunately, there are no locksmiths here (I live in the marsh).  The closest one is at least an hour away so he's gonna charge an arm and a leg just to come down here.  BUT I know my dad has one (even though he refuses to help) so I'll try to borrow it today I will get it open, I'm determined!!!

I'll let ya'll know as soon as I do get it.

I haven't gotten a power cord yet.  My husband brought an extension cord back from work but it has 2 prongs and I need one with 3.  Here are pics of the inside!

An extension cord will not work, you need to get a computer power cord it has 3 vertical slits 2 parallel and 1 above. It is the same power cord used by any desktop PC. If you can find a thrift store, they might have it in there or a computer shop, should be not more than a couple of dollars. Then add the extension cord for length afterword.

A Computer power cord for a desktop. But that piece that you have looks like the reverse of what you need, maybe you could take that piece in with you and they could match it up.

You will need to put one of the
quarters into the coin comparator.

the coin comparator is the same thing as where you put the coins in to play, right?  i tried putting a quarter in last night just to do it but I guess it has to be powered on for it to go through.

And yes, it's a maintenance log.  Says the last time it was serviced was 2005.

Wow, that is a great video!

Too bad when I finally got a power cord, it didn't turn on Sad  How depressing

On the upside, I'm going to the Marlboro Ranch in 2 weeks and with my tickets I got today, I also got a $750 check.  So I'm checking out some slots online to buy.

Post some pictures of the inside of your machine with the hopper removed.

Whatever you do, don't toss the machine out! We consider it a challenge to get non-working machines fully functional. If you get another one, don't let them stay in the dark for obvious reasons! Cry Laughing

You did flip the power switch on after you plugged it in, right?

Where did you plug the power cord into?  Chances are it should not be plugged into that black power cord that was inside the machine.

Do us a favor to help you and as Neonkiss suggested, remove the hopper (it pulls straight out towards you and slides out on a track) and post a few good pictures of the inside of the machine.  (Yes, you can only post two at a time per post, but you can always keep replying to the thread to add additional pictures.)  We'll be able to help you more at that point.

Also, while you have the hopper out, check everywhere for additional loose coins.  You don't want any loose coins floating around when you do get the machine powered up.
