BUNKER, YOUR THE MAN.  Now that I knew where to look it was a bad speaker wire.
Thanks for all the help. Silly Me! Silly Me! Clap Clap +1 (Karma, or whatever)
Ford

lol   You're very welcome Fordsbs...
I actually like questions about S+'s and troubleshooting them to try and see if we can solve problems.
Please let us know if that gets your speaker working again.
If not, then I'd have to say that it may be the MPU sound chip I posted up earlier
or perhaps something else on the MPU itself.

The motherboards are workhorses and usually nothing goes wrong with them unless
a coin slides under them and shorts the heck out of the underside of them.
That's why IGT placed those foamy pads under the motherboards so that scenario wouldn't occur.

Sorry Bunker. I didn't think of that. Should I see if I can remove it?

Ford, make sure your customer realizes that a lot of troubleshooting and analysis went into this and that he should be more than satisfied with the repair.............that is............until.............the children get their little fangs into it again. Before you know it they will be saying stuff like "Damn, this is nothing like Vegas" "Holy Crap" and "Oh My God"  Here's an old post link to this very thing:  http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=4654.0

Reed, That is a good video.
The guy picked up the machine tonight & I told him keep it locked & don't give the kids the key.
I talked him into going on Ebay & getting a bunch of tokens.
He was happy & he said he might get one of the other games from me. That made me feel better.
