Below is from the manual of FAQ...........

QUESTION:  Does a CASHFLOW SC® unit have dip switches?

A CASHFLOW SC® unit does not have any dip switches. Notes can be enabled and
disabled by using a configuration coupon. Contact MEI for more information.

So you need the configuration coupon to program the unit to enable 1's and 5's.

Here's a thought.

1. Many color printers print black in normal mode by using a composite of the three colors and black. Make sure that your printer is using only black ink to print the coupon.

2. Make sure that the distances from the top black reference bar to the circles that are to be filled in is precise. Make sure that the size of the printed image precisely matches the example.

3. Also make sure that the overall length and width are precise and within tolerance limits.
Note that the tolerance is quite tight, well under 1%:  Length is 156.0 ± 1.00; width is 66.5 ±0.50

You might have to make slight adjustments to the size of the printed image to match the proportions.

I don't know if these ideas will help, but I do know how optical devices determine a point of reference, measure, and scan these types of data cards.

Make sure that "Page Scaling" is set to none when you print it.  The first time i did it, it was set to fit to page and printed at 94%, which was too small.   Duh!

I printed the next one with scaling at "None" and it came out just slightly larger than a bill (maybe 2 mm longer).  It worked perfectly!  yes
