I would think so.  What game are you trying to clear?  FYI, the version 40 chip replaced the 22.  I use the 40 now to configure and clear my Game King.

Mine's a 3902.  Not sure which one works with the 044 since I don't have any experience with it...yet.  Wink

Instructions are the same other than the fact that instead of using the board test button and jackpot key to toggle the settings during the clear screen, you can just touch the screen to make the selections and perform the functions that you want.
