My list only show it too. This is from the PSR;

Program Summary Report:  S-Plus Stepper Slot Version SP1309

COMPLETE SET OF SLOT GAME CHIPS
Game PROM   Programmable Read-Only Memory.  The game program is stored on this PROM.  The PROM is a 27C512 device, and the label indicates S-PLUS GAME, the version (SP1309), and the game type.
NOTE:  This PROM must have a 120 ns or faster access time and must be installed on a 16 MHz processor board.

Type 14 chips are tournament chips really and were popular on cruise ships.
They are, for the most part,  pretty much game specific...what award glass are you trying to fit a Type 14 chip to?

Yes, A type 14 SP chip is used with ST Tourney chips. They are not game specific but, are required to make a ST chip work in dual modes. Just like a Haywire feature chip  requires any type 2/21 , a Tournement (st) chip requires any type 14 SP. There are a lot of 10Mhz type 0.1.4.14 chips but it looks like only (1) 16Mhz listed. I normally use a SP1311 with all my ST chips with no problem. But this time I need to set up a 16Mhz board and was looking for the 16Mhz chip.

I am pretty sure the SP1311 will work on the 16Mhz board as long as it was burned to a 120ns or faster chip. Was just hoping for the 16Mhz version.
