pull handle in front?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew of a model and the years it was made ? I don't have a picture. I'll try to describe it the best I can (thinking about buying it) It's called BOOMTOWN looks like it stands pretty tall,it has round speaker covers in the front,the pull handle is in the front and the coin tray is in the stand attached to it. weird but cool looking! Any ideas? Thanks for all the help ! you guys are awesome!!!!

Sorry, but all I saw was a Caille at the last Chicagoland Show with the pull handle in front, alot older and shorter, I take it. See pic below.

That's a beautiful machine, although I'm sure that it was overpriced since it was at the show.
I'm not too familiar with how reliable the Caille's were; I just like the look of that one.

jer3270, do you have any idea how old the machine your asking about is (what decade)? Since you posted in the Bally section, can we assume it's a Bally?
Are we talking about a mechanical slot, an EM, or a stepper? (I don't think Bally made any mechanical slots.)

Is it a 3-reel slot or something more unusual? Is it possible that the name "Boomtown" refers to the casino it came from and not the name of the machine? The more you can tell us, the better the chance that someone will be able to figure it out.

Please tell us it's not a Japanese Pachislo with the knob next to the stop buttons.

Hi, not antique,not japan junk the slot is taller than me and I'm 5'11. With the speaker grills in the front I'm guessing for stereo sound late 80's to now. The guy had it listed as bally's but took the ad off of craigs list,otherwise I would give you a link. It's a 3 reel the reel glass, pay table glass above that and a round top shaped glass above that all say boomtown on them. The machine has blue glass, a lot of chrome in the front(looks like a bally door frame) and being all one piece the coin tray is in the stand and of course the pull handle in the front. It's gotta be from U.S.A. casinos. I wonder if it isn't possibly a universal machine or something other than Ballys though? Thanks again for any help!!!!

My best guess would be that it's a Bally Big Bertha slot machine, that could have come out of the Boomtown Casino in Biloxi Mississippi.. It could have been in the casino when Katrina hit down there? Maybe maybe not?? This is the only pic I could find of a Big Bertha machine but its handle on the side..

I've never seen a Big Bertha – or any other oversized slot, for that matter – that didn't have a handle on the side. The whole idea of those machines is to attract attention and to give the player something really long to tug on.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, you're up to about 200-250.      I think in this case the pic would be worth even more. 

I've never seen a Bally with the handle in front.  For that matter, I don't think I've seen any modern machine with a handle in front.  Could the seller give you any more info?

Only Bally machine I can think of with a pull handle on the front is
A Bally Classic.

Bally did make a machine back in the 1940's call Triple Bell and it did have a front pull handle, or should be said a push down handle. I know it's not the machine in question because it was said to have speakers.. Too back we don't have a pic of the machine, has me curious now what it could be..
