i set up my penny machine for tokenization using $1 ikes for coin in and coin out

i have it set to pay 100 maximum coins and rest ticket (like my other 1$ machines)

it will pay out in coins if the payout amount is increment of 1$  and if its over 100(110 for example) it pays 100 coin and 10 ticket

the problm is if the cashout balance is 9.10 for example it will only pay ticket

is there a way to make it pay 9.00 coin and .10 ticket?

How many credits does the machine put on for each token? If your token value is $1 and the accounting denom is $0.01 then $9.10 exceeds the hopper limit because it's 9100 credits. You could adjust your hopper limit or set a partial pay to match how many tokens you want it to kick out on amounts that exceed hopper limit so you can get at least SOME tokens on every cashout. Some games also allow a "quick pay" option that will kick out a set number of coins on a selection from the player cashout menu

100 credits per coin. $1.00 but 9.10 prints ticket only, 9.00 gives 9 coins, 8.90 gives ticket only hopper limit is set to $400.00

Ok, I see now. You might try setting the split pay level to match the hopper limit or something a little lower than that. I set my token value to match the equivalent of a max spin bet on my 45+ credit machines and around 10 credits on my smaller max bet machines. Hopper limits are set for 100 tokens and split pay is set for 10. I so rarely cash them out and only do it when the credit totals get really high that I don't know if it works to solve your problem. I know a few times when I cashed out I got tokens with a residual amount to small to equal token value and had to cashout a second time to get a ticket or handpay option

I just did.
Mu scenario so you know when it works the way you would like it

S2000
Multi-denomination (25c, 50c, $1, $5)
Hopper and split pay limits $500.00
Each token or coin = $100.00
my other limits are set at $100,000.00

under key chip menu 7.1.7 tokenization: partial token payout enabled.

drop one token (yes I use tokens)
pay one game game so $90.00 shows on VFD
cashout get ticket.

drop 2 tokens ($200)
play one game
vfd shows $190.00
cashout get ticket

drop in 6 tokens ($600.00)
play one game
$590.00 on VFD
cashout
get 5 tokens and a ticket for the remainder

I then enabled the cash out menu 3.1.7.1.1 and set the player coin limit at $500.00 3.1.7.1.2
So I am gathering that it must be over those limits or value displayed on VFD divided by token value is an Integer and no remainder to pay out tokens/coins
What ever your hopper limit will be the max for split pay and player coin limit under the cash out menu option.
