Seem to be getting a few PM's about this at the moment, so thought I should give a small update.

I dont have a SAS protocol machine to work with at the moment, so its a little tough to do any development of the DLL at this point. We have one machine here that can be converted to SAS, but its tide up with testing other protocols at this point. When you get the SAS Protocol, they also give you some tools, but unfortunatly there is no Game Simulator supplied. However, I did get a sneak peek at a SAS game simulator yesterday, so fingers crossed I can get a copy of that soon.

Furthermore, I may be implementing SAS in another system soon. Negotiations are in progress with the regulator. If this goes ahead then I will continue to be building on my SAS library, and I can just expose that in the DLL.

I have been tossing around the idea of releasing my source code, but I have a problem with the fact that I have signed an NDA with IGT, and that prohibits me from releasing any information about the protocol. So if I release the source code, everyone can see how the protocol works.

Also, please folks, dont PM asking for copies of SAS Protocol or the tools, because you are only going to be disappointed when I say no. IGT has my companies name embedded into the PDF which is secured, and no doubt the tools also have some identifier built in. I signed an NDA with IGT to get the info, and I need it as part of my business, so I cannot jeopardise that position. Remember, for most of you this is a hobby, but for me this is how I make a living.
